Cincinnati, OH – ProMach, Inc. announced today it has acquired Canadian-based Jalbert Automatisation, a long-term key supplier for NJM Packaging. NJM has held a significant ownership interest for over five years in the Montreal based Jalbert, a leader in automated production with customized solutions for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food processing, and chemical industries.
Jalbert developed the innovative beltorque® inline capping technology in partnership with NJM Packaging. This patented capping technology, with more than 250 installations worldwide, is a small footprint belt capping system with torque monitoring that runs up to 300 bottles per minute. The technology expands ProMach’s capping solutions to give customers a complete range of capping systems – from inline to rotary capping – available from multiple ProMach brands, including NJM Packaging, Zalkin, Pacific, Pack West, and Federal.
Jalbert also designs and integrates custom packaging solutions, with more than 450 turnkey packaging projects successfully completed across the entire packaging line. Customized solutions include tablet elevators, bottle packaging, pick and place robotics, pepperoni peeling, palletizing, and much more. Jalbert’s team boasts deep expertise in mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering, and partners with customers to design and develop both one-off custom machines as well as standard equipment.
