Harsh Environment Protection For Model 250 Labeler

Jun 12, 2008

Engineers at ID Technology, a division of ProMach and a leading provider of labeling, coding and marking solutions, have developed a specialized Model 250 Label Printer Applicator for use in harsh environments. With this exclusive design, it is no longer necessary to use a separate enclosure to protect the applicator, since the enclosure and applicator are one. All machine components and modules are mounted on a unique faceplate and the stainless steel enclosure is wrapped around the faceplate.

The enclosure is 12 gauge stainless steel and comes with a Nema 4 rating. It is equipped with a removable door for label application operations, and both the front and back panels are hinged for easy access to the print engine, operator controls and for media loading. The IDT 250 Printer Applicator has a 12.5" unwind, can accommodate labels up to 7" x 12" and has a stroke length up to 12" with heavy duty cylinder. The U-Arm, with cork/rubber seals at junction, is mounted on the outside of the enclosure, allowing the system to be mounted reels up, reels out, nose up or nose down. An optional stainless steel U-Arm and mounting post are also available, as well as an optional door window.
